Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve high-speed filling/packaging lines, bioreactors, autoclaves, HVAC, and related utilities on site.

Qualifications include a mix of education and hands-on maintenance experience in a regulated environment, with strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with manufacturing experience preferred.
• Associates or technical diploma in a relevant field is an asset.
• Bachelors in a relevant field with experience in regulated environments is valued.
• Knowledge of EHS requirements and health and safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication; able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill work order information in SAP and confirm status.
• Develop training programs to improve maintenance knowledge and mentor technicians.
• Perform accurate troubleshooting of equipment/system events and analyze root cause.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Assist outside contractors on medium complexity projects as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional equipment improvement teams.
