CSL in Illinois (Kankakee) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain mechanical equipment, troubleshoot and support preventive maintenance in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Overtime and weekend shifts are required; union membership is part of the process.

A GED or high school diploma is required, with an Associate degree preferred. The role reports to the Maintenance Services Supervisor and offers a unionized, probationary position with a wage of $50.42 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or a trade certificate is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operates machinery and equipment to perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors and production machines.
• Locates problems by observing equipment, listening for issues, and using precision measuring/testing instruments.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications; builds professional network.
• Contributes to team goals and completes other duties as assigned by management.
