Job summary

American Regent, Inc. in Shirley, NY, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient operation of processing equipment through effective planning of changeovers, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

You will direct a team of mechanics, set priorities for projects, and enforce cGMP and safety practices across shifts. Responsibilities include leading maintenance activities, coordinating with engineering, managing spare parts, and preparing reports to drive continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a leadership role.
• 5–7 years of relevant mechanic experience in pharma preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Able to follow SOPs and document activities.
• Effective communication and safety program knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, implement, and manage maintenance program with planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate and direct projects and process mechanics with detailed plans.
• Ensure equipment ready for daily/weekly start up and PM tasks timely.
• Lead Maintenance Mechanics, prioritize work, and assess competencies.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to improve equipment performance.
• Manage spare parts inventory to balance readiness and cost.
• Coordinate with Engineering and external contractors as needed.
• Participate in SOP development and adherence, and training.
• Support deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as required.
