Job summary

KVK Tech, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, equipment changeovers, and troubleshooting to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and facility equipment.

This role ensures preventive and corrective maintenance, supports installations and qualification activities, and collaborates with Production, Engineering, and Quality to minimize downtime and keep operations ready.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in pharma/regulated settings.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, or completing changeovers on production, packaging, or facility equipment.
• Prior experience in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical facility is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, inspect, and support manufacturing and facility equipment for safe, reliable operation.
• Perform product, size, and format changeovers per procedures and production needs.
• Execute scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment installations, modifications, inspections, qualifications, validations, and requalification with Engineering, Production, and Quality.
• Complete equipment logs, work orders, CMMS entries, and related maintenance documentation per cGMP and ALCOA+.
• Communicate equipment status, concerns, quality issues, deviations, and safety hazards to maintenance leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe, inspection-ready equipment areas and workspaces.
