Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, raise efficiency and ensure GMP compliance across production lines.

Lead DMAIC projects, apply Lean Six Sigma, perform capacity planning and line balancing, and develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor process capability.

Requires a BS/BA or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in pharma manufacturing, Black/Green Belt, SAP/AutoCAD skills, and OSHA respirator fit test.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/pharma.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Black/Green) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through DMAIC roadmap to drive process improvements.
• Support GMP compliance, equipment and process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor process stability and capability (Cpk/Ppk).
• Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives without compromising compliance.
• Conduct bottleneck analysis and line balancing to optimize throughput.
