Job summary

Nivagen Pharmaceuticals Inc in Sacramento is seeking a Lab Technician to support laboratory operations, conduct routine tests, prepare samples, and maintain equipment in compliance with GLP and regulatory standards.

You will work with chemists and scientists to ensure accurate testing of pharmaceutical products, perform instrument analyses (notably HPLC), and contribute to SOPs and COAs while maintaining safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related scientific field.
• Experience with laboratory techniques and analytical methods.
• Familiarity with GLP and regulatory standards.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples using instruments, primarily HPLC.
• Maintain laboratory logs and usage records.
• Prepare and review SOPs and COAs.
• Ensure compliance with cGLP and cGMP.
• Handle chemicals and dispose of waste.
• Calibrate instruments with service engineers.
• Develop analytical methods under supervision.
• Collaborate with chemists and scientists.
