Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lab Support Technician to join a pharmaceutical site as a Lab Assistant. This entry-level, in-person role focuses on glassware handling, cleaning, and QC data logging in a regulated lab.

The position requires a biology/chemistry life sciences background and prior lab exposure; work schedule is Monday–Friday in Sanford, NC, with standard 8-hour shifts and no remote work option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related life science.
• Prior lab experience from academia or internship.
• Desire to build a career in pharmaceuticals and in a support role.

Responsibilities

• Collect dirty glassware daily from QC labs.
• Sort and load glassware into two washers and maintain wash cycles.
• Unload and muff glassware post-wash.
• Log activity in the gLIMS system.
• Stock consumables and clean glassware in designated areas.
• Attend biweekly Continuous Improvement meetings.
• Participate in standard work planning and scheduling sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
