Boston Globe Media Partners, LLC seeks a sharp, high-caliber reporter to join our biopharma team, covering the pharma industry with quick-turn analyses and enterprise reporting. You’ll collaborate with senior writers and editors to deliver impactful stories and investigations that illuminate the culture and inner workings of global drugmakers.

You will cultivate sources across pharma C-suites, Wall Street firms, and academia, and participate in events, sometimes moderating.

Qualifications

• At least five years experience covering the biopharma industry and the business of health.
• Versatile writer ready to handle diverse story types.
• Team-oriented and collaborative in a tight-knit newsroom.

Responsibilities

• Chronicling the pharma industry and its key players, M&A, relationships with Washington, and more.
• Deliver exclusive news stories, features, profiles, and enterprise targets.
• Cultivate trusted sources across pharma C-suites, Wall Street analysts, and academia.
• Participate in events, including occasionally as a moderator.
• Contribute to deep, provocative reporting of the life sciences industry.
