Job summary

International Process Solutions (IPS) seeks a Field Service Calibration Technician to perform on-site calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of laboratory and process equipment.

This role requires 65–75% travel to customer sites within regulated pharmaceutical and biotech environments, with occasional overtime or weekend work. A strong emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and safety is essential to meet standards.

Qualifications

• Experience calibrating pharmaceutical, mass, temperature, or electrical equipment.
• High school diploma required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and ISO/IEC 17025 familiarity strongly preferred.
• Mechanical and/or electronics background to support calibration and maintenance activities.
• Strong attention to detail with documentation accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory and process instruments on-site.
• Service equipment including incubators, pipettes, balances, freezers, BSCs, and fume hoods.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including filter changes, lubrication, and mechanical adjustments.
• Apply calibration principles to ensure equipment accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Follow IPS and client SOPs while maintaining accurate service documentation.
