Job summary

BioSpectra, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Bangor, PA. The role covers daily facility walkthroughs, repairs, and routine maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring safe, clean, and compliant operations.

You will perform carpentry, plumbing, HVAC checks, and coordinate with contractors, while following cGMP and OSHA requirements. Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math, and the ability to read, write, and speak English are essential; lifting up to 80

Qualifications

• One year of related mechanical or building experience
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to work with various tools and machines
• Good math skills for measuring and cutting
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, bend, stoop, crawl, climb and twist throughout the shift
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to learn cGMP and Safety programs

Responsibilities

• Performs and organizes routine semi-skilled maintenance for each facility
• Ensures facilities are available and maintained in a safe, clean condition
• Handles basic repairs and maintenance at all BioSpectra facilities
• Repairs machines, equipment, or structures when necessary
• Conducts daily inspections of HVAC equipment and reports needs to supervisor
• Oversees contractors and/or vendors for professional repairs
• Follows safe working practices and uses related safety equipment
• Completes work orders and related cGMP paperwork
• Maintains good housekeeping
• Documents maintenance in applicable logs
