Job summary

Lilly seeks a Data Scientist to lead enterprise-scale data products powering AI-driven insights for CMC, PAT, and analytics. You will bridge pharmaceutical sciences with data engineering to turn complex datasets into strategic assets for drug development and manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities include defining data archetypes, implementing compliant data frameworks, and collaborating across R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to enable self-service data access while maintaining GxP

Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science or related STEM with 0–5 years pharma experience, or MS with 5+ years pharma experience.
Experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
Knowledge of modern data stack technologies and cloud platforms.
Design data products to support AI/ML workflows in scientific domains.
Experience with data modeling for time-series and analytical data.

Responsibilities

Define the roadmap and deliver AI-ready data products for AI/ML, PAT, and analytics.
Define pharmaceutical data archetypes and reusable models aligned with industry standards.
Implement data frameworks ensuring 21 CFR Part 11 and data integrity.
Build training datasets for lab automation and predictive CQA models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize data products.
