Job summary

Comecer is seeking a Control Systems Software Engineer to provide programming and commissioning support for NA customers. You will work on Siemens and Rockwell PLC/HMI systems, PCs, and related control software for radiopharma, pharma and ATMP projects.

The role involves software development, FAT/SAT/IQ-OQ/PQ support for new installations, and collaboration across engineering teams to meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
• At least three years in controls engineering software.
• Knowledge of PLC development environments: Siemens (TiaPortal, Step7), Rockwell, B&R.
• Knowledge of SCADA/HMI: Siemens WinCC TiaPortal, Movicon, Rockwell, B&R.
• Regulatory requirements for Comecer products and certification processes.
• Ability to work with internal cross-functional teams and customers under deadlines.
• Fluent in English; Italian is an asset.
• Excellent time-management; capable of coordinating multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of project technical specifications.
• Monitoring of the project objectives and the assigned team.
• Drafting of documentation for various project phases.
• Development of the software according to specifications and project Gantt chart.
• Supervise and manage the team to achieve objectives.
• Contributes to component choice and network architecture.
• Participates in alignment meetings to discuss progress and issues.
• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities for machines.
• Ensure compliance with company and international quality standards.
• Take corrective action to resolve non-conformities.
