Job summary

PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation, is seeking a Civil & Site Development Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of early construction activities for pharmaceutical capital projects in Puerto Rico. This role manages site preparation, civil works, demolition, temporary facilities, and infrastructure to ensure safe, on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 15+ years of capital project experience with 5+ years in enabling works or site development.
• Experience on large pharmaceutical or regulated construction projects preferred.
• PMP certification and OSHA 30 preferred.
• English required; Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage enabling works projects, including scope, budget, schedule, contracts and risks.
• Lead contractors through mobilization, execution and closeout.
• Oversee site preparation, demolition, temporary facilities, and early civil/infrastructure work.
• Promote a strong safety culture during high-risk construction activities.
• Coordinate with site operations, utilities, design and construction teams for readiness.
• Manage permitting, environmental compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead project change control, contractor performance reviews, and claims management.
• Ensure smooth handover of completed work and capture lessons learned.
