Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a talented Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects in regulated pharmaceutical environments.

Based on Puerto Rico, you will coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Procurement, EHSS, and contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and compliant with GMP requirements. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of capital projects experience in FDA-regulated industries and is fluent in English and Spanish,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years managing capital projects in pharma/biotech/regulated industries.
• Experience with design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and handover phases.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration; fluent English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with GMP and quality system expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across all lifecycle phases, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget.
• Develop plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement.
• Communicate status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support commissioning, qualification, startup, and turnover to operations.
