Job summary

A buy-side investment analyst position focusing on Pharma/Biotech, working with Portfolio Managers to research and propose investment ideas using a fundamental, bottom-up approach in a market-neutral context.

Responsibilities include detailed company modeling, earnings call participation, and presenting long and short ideas to the team, with travel to conferences and meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior investment banking, private equity, long-only experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, engineering and/or computer science
• Passion for fundamental analysis and public markets investing
• Advanced understanding of accounting/financial statements
• Valuation experience and excellent Excel modeling skills
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
