Job summary

Pinnacle Group, on behalf of a prestigious university endowment, seeks an Analyst to join its investment team in Florida. The Analyst will research private market investments (PE, VC, private credit, real estate) and support portfolio analytics.

You will work with senior professionals on manager research, due diligence, and asset allocation, gaining broad institutional investment exposure in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in asset management, investment consulting, or endowment/foundation environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Science or another quantitative field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of financial concepts, portfolio theory and investment statistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and slide-writing skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate investment managers through meetings, calls and periodic reports.
• Conduct due diligence on prospective investments and external managers.
• Research investment strategies, market conditions and prospective managers.
• Assist with financial modeling, portfolio valuation and nowcasting of private investments.
• Contribute to asset allocation, risk allocation and portfolio analysis.
• Analyze portfolio performance, positioning, exposures and risk.
• Coordinate with investment and operations teams to maintain portfolio data.
• Prepare investment materials and reports for internal stakeholders and the Board.

Our client is a prestigious university endowment located in Florida. The investment team manages over $7 billion across a broadly diversified portfolio of asset classes and investment strategies.

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its investment team, supporting both Partnership Management and Portfolio Management. The Analyst will focus primarily on researching and analyzing private market investments, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Real Estate and other alternative strategies, while gaining broad exposure across the portfolio.

The Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals on manager research, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, investment analysis and asset allocation. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career investor to gain broad institutional investment experience within a collaborative, intellectually rigorous team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate investment managers through meetings, calls and periodic reports
