A global leader in life sciences manufacturing is seeking an experienced Automation Area Lead to support a major pharmaceutical project in Indianapolis, Indiana. This hybrid role involves leading the control system design and implementation, ensuring compliance with project automation standards. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of automation experience, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, and a strong familiarity with DeltaV Batch DCS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of automation experience in the pharmaceutical industry (API/bulk manufacturing preferred).
• Proven track record in large-scale pharmaceutical automation projects.
• At least 5 years of experience with DeltaV Batch DCS.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation activities for a specific process area within the project.
• Define S88 software architecture and develop functional design specifications.
• Collaborate with system integrators to finalize specifications.
