Job summary
Technical Source in Concord, NC is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to troubleshoot and maintain Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA on live pharmaceutical production lines. The role requires GMP experience and the ability to operate within SOP and change control frameworks.

Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on automation experience in pharma or life sciences manufacturing (GMP required).
- Experience supporting formulation, filling, packaging, or sterile/regulated production lines.
- Strong Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000) in live production support environments.
- Proven troubleshooting skills with FactoryTalk-based HMI/SCADA and related automation components.
- Clear history of working under SOPs and change control, deviation, and validation frameworks.
- Ability to support off-shift as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for operators, maintenance, and site leadership, and for shift handoffs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs on live production lines.
- Support FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems to maximize uptime.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance to resolve automation issues.
- Follow GMP, SOPs, change control, and validation processes.
- Communicate clearly with operators and shift teams, including handoffs.
