Job summary

Quva is seeking an Automation Engineer to support, develop, and maintain automated systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will ensure production equipment and digital infrastructure operate reliably and in compliance with cGMP standards, collaborating with IT and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI/SCADA design, incident investigation, change control, and documentation. A Bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field with 5+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, Robotics (Fanuc/Siemens), and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical skills to support operations, ensuring automated equipment operates efficiently.
• Troubleshoot machines, monitor PLC issues, perform root cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Design and implement controls including PLC coding, HMI and SCADA systems.
• Validate and document equipment/process changes, change control, and drawings.
• Develop and train automated laboratory processes and instrumentation systems.
