Actalent is seeking an Intermediate Level Automation Engineer for a contract-to-hire role in Durham, NC. You will design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, ensuring cGMP compliance and data integrity.

You’ll lead projects through commissioning, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and startup, working with Operations, Validation, Quality, and Engineering teams to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
