Job summary

Pace Analytical Life Sciences, LLC is seeking a versatile professional to oversee analytical chemistry programs in a GMP setting. The role involves analysis, interpretation, and documentation of testing results across materials, products, and devices.

The position requires a Bachelor's in chemistry/biochemistry and 2–5 years of relevant experience, with hands-on HPLC/UPLC and Empower software proficiency. Work is conducted in lab and office environments with standard safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry or related field with 2–5 years of related experience
• Experience with complex programs or operations in GMP environments
• Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC and instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Provide/oversee analysis of materials, products, and devices using analytical instrumentation and SOPs
• Review, analyze, interpret, and document testing results
• Oversee or review documentation, databases, and forms related to chemistry/biochemistry
• Provide guidance on chemistry/biochemistry policies and programs to staff and leadership
• Support resolution of inquiries by researching and coordinating responses
• Analyze operations and data to identify trends and present recommendations
• Ensure test accuracy and data integrity through audits and cross-team collaboration
• Assist with development and execution of chemistry/biochemistry projects, including budgets and timelines
• Calibrate and maintain equipment, samples, and work areas
• Apply department policies and regulations and seek guidance as needed
• Contribute to department effectiveness and customer/staff relations
• Promote Pace Analytical mission through professional interactions
