Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a 2nd Shift Analytical Chemist to perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products (tablets, capsules, parenteral, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, gels).

Responsibilities include operating chromatographic and other systems, preparing samples, validating new analytical processes, and ensuring GMP-compliant documentation; the role runs Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm, with about 25%

Qualifications

• Must have authorization to work in the US indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years GMP industry experience.
• 1-2 years HPLC industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of APIs and finished products.
• Operate analyzers/instruments including HPLC, UV/Vis, IR and others.
• Prepare samples and run instruments with minimal supervision.
• Set up and validate new analytical processes used by the department.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
• Execute method transfer protocols.
• Document work for GMP compliance.
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.
