Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Air Import of Pharmaceutical products.

You will manage the exportation of goods by air, prepare customs documentation, and coordinate with airlines and customers to ensure timely delivery. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding of Pharmaceutical products is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• All other duties as assigned.
