Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee Pharma freight operations in Indianapolis and Plainfield, IN. You will manage loading, unloading, and warehousing activities, ensure safety, compliance with FAA regs, and coordinate airfreight movements with a focus on efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• 2+ yrs. experience in similar field.
• 2+ yrs. leadership experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional overtime.
• Airfreight experience preferred.
• Develops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Pharma freight services to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective processing of shipments.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, routing, dispatching, and transporting freight.
• Verify load planning for containers/weight to meet airworthiness and regulations.
• Oversee loading/unloading of Pharma air freight.
• Supervise two or more staff, hire, coach, train, and develop subordinate staff.
• Assign work, set completion dates, review performance per policy.
• Implement and direct quality control across operational areas.
• Establish and revise policies, procedures, and service standards.
• May lead new operations and customer project teams and coordinate with vendors.
• Act as advisor to peers and internal customers; collaborate with senior management.
