Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Indianapolis and Plainfield, Indiana seeks a Warehouse Supervisor responsible for policies to manage cargo handling in the onsite warehouse, ensuring processes meet customer and internal requirements, and are safe, organized, and efficient.

You will supervise pharma freight operations, coordinate receiving, loading, transfers, and maintain load planning, directing staff and vendors to deliver timely, compliant results.

Qualifications

• 2+ yrs. experience in similar field.
• 2+ yrs. leadership experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional overtime.
• Airfreight experience preferred.
• Deals with cross-cultural tactical issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Pharma freight services for safe, timely processing.
• Oversees receiving, pickup, rating, billing, warehousing, routing and transport.
• Verifies load planning related to container/weight for airworthiness.
• Supervises loading/unloading of Pharma air freight.
• Leads two or more staff and directs training and development.
