Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role involves processing and filling prescriptions, packing and shipping medications, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate must hold NC PTCB/ExCPT/PTCE certification and NC BOP registration, with prior technician experience and strong attention to detail. RotatingSaturday OT may be required; interview is in-person with a technical assessment.

Qualifications

• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience.

• Replenish pharmacy supplies (vials, labels, caps, etc.).

Job description

Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Charlotte, NC 28217

Duration: 12 months + contract extensions

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, with occasional mandatory overtime and rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders for pharmacist verification
• Pack and ship medications to patients
• Maintain inventory and automated dispensing systems
• Replenish pharmacy supplies (vials, labels, caps, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations

Requirements

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT/PTCE)
• Active North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) registration
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-based environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred

• Mail-order, retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy experience
• Self-motivated and team-oriented
