Job summary

Risktec Solutions in Houston, Texas, part of the TÜV Rheinland Group, seeks a PHA Facilitator with risk management and process safety expertise across oil, gas, chemical and renewable energy sectors. You will lead Process Hazard Analysis workshops and help implement HSSE programs at client sites.

Requires at least five years of relevant experience, a degree in Chemical Engineering (or related discipline), and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and share risk management expertise with clients.

Risktec currently has a vacancy in our Houston, Texas office for a PHA Facilitator with experience in Risk Management and Process Safety across oil, gas, chemical and renewable energy sectors.

Job Description

We require a PHA Facilitator that has a working knowledge of OHSA PSM elements with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in some or all of the following:

• Facilitating Process Hazard Analysis workshops such as HAZOP, What-if, LOPA and/or HAZID
• MoC, PSSR, emergency planning and response, mechanical integrity, development of PSM standards and systems
• HSSE management systems
• Functional safety (in the process and/or other industries)
• Project planning and management
• Preparing/coordinating bids
• Delivering training

The role could involve travel throughout North America and overseas to meet project requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of OHSA PSM elements
• Educated to a Degree level in Chemical Engineering; other disciplines will be considered.
• A valid driver's license is required
