Richmond and Henrico Health Districts are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Nurse Manager Senior. This is an impactful leadership role supporting our mission to build healthy, resilient communities and provide high‑quality public health services.
The Nurse Manager Senior oversees a comprehensive district nursing program. Key responsibilities include:
VDH requires all Health‑Care Personnel (HCP) to provide documentation of immunization or evidence of immunity to the following: hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella; a one-time dose of tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine regardless of the interval since the last dose of tetanus‑diphtheria (Td) vaccine was administered (Td or Tdap boosters shall be received every 10 years); and the current year's seasonal influenza vaccination. "Health Care Personnel" are required to maintain timely compliance with all Employee Health requirements, including but not limited to HCP‑required immunizations, health screenings, respiratory protections, and relevant trainings, as mandated by organizational policy and applicable regulatory standards.
This position may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000, subject to agency approval and completion of all onboarding requirements.
