Job summary

The State of Georgia’s Department of Public Health is seeking a PH Environmental Compliance Specialist 2 to lead district operations on childhood lead poisoning efforts. You will conduct inspections, write authoritative reports, and educate families and the medical community in collaboration with a dynamic public health team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 27 semester or 40 quarter hours in laboratory sciences and one year of experience at the lower level PH Envir Compl Specialist 1 or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in public health or environmental health/science preferred.
  • Certification as Georgia Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor required within 120 days of starting.
