How You Will Create Impact

This role is critical to the innovation team in AICOE, building a strategic capability to implement advanced AI techniques (including RAG, Knowledge Graph, Agentic design, POC and Model Context Protocol MCP). You will contribute to the invention in AIG GenAI’s projects and AIG’s Intelligent Property, helping us lead the industry in Gen AI.

Your Responsibilities

• GenAI research and application: stay up to date with the latest advancements and develop innovative solutions that drive value, including designing novel architectures, algorithms and techniques for LLMs, multi‑modal models, etc.
• Agentic system development and optimization: design and build enterprise‑level Agentic solutions, including data processing and curation to mitigate biases and ensure high‑quality datasets for optimized model performance.
• Research strategy and direction: define and drive the long‑term research vision and strategy for GenAI, aligning with business objectives and setting ambitious goals and milestones.
• Collaboration and communication: collaborate with and communicate complex research concepts to cross‑functional teams and stakeholders, distilling findings into actionable insights.
• GenAI thought leader: advance expertise through continuous learning, conferences, and community engagement, contributing to the team’s knowledge base and the wider field through publications and presentations.

What Is Needed To Be Successful

• Ph.D. with 2+ years of industry experience.
• Design and deploy Agentic AI solutions to automate complex business workflows.
• Translate research in Agentic AI, reinforcement learning and reasoning into practical solutions for underwriting, operations, claims automation, customer servicing and risk assessment.
• Experience implementing Agentic AI frameworks such as CrewAI, Claude Agent SDK, LangChain or similar in production settings.
• Strong machine learning, deep learning and Gen AI hands‑on and scientific research skills.
• Produced novel research related to Agentic design and implementation.
• Experience designing and implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for seamless integration between AI agents, enterprise systems and external tools.
• Specialized expertise in fine‑tuning, RLHF, RAG, Knowledge Graph, etc.
• Knowledge of Palantir platforms is a plus.
• Ph.D. publications on GenAI and/or Agentic are a plus.
• Passionate about making research available to real users and democratizing modern AI technology.
• Motivated by working on Gen AI research that will be disclosed publicly.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work on a small, fast‑paced team.
