Key Responsibilities

• Source and execute whole loan mortgage transactions with various market participants.
• Lead pricing and negotiation efforts to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
• Acquire whole loans through multiple channels including bulk loan purchases and flow agreements.
• Oversee the end-to-end purchase of mortgage loan investments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with originators, servicers, dealers, and aggregators.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding market conditions and risk management.
• Make buy/sell recommendations based on portfolio analysis and market conditions.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience trading residential mortgage whole loans.
• Demonstrated ability to source a full range of mortgage loan products.
• Proven experience executing whole loan transactions and implementing hedging strategies.
• Deep understanding of the residential mortgage whole loan market.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (MBA, MS, and/or CFA are pluses).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Salary Range: $200,000 to $225,000 annually, based on experience and location.
