Job summary

Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District is seeking a PGA Associate Golf Professional in Westminster, CO. You will support daily course operations, Pro Shop and practice facilities, and coordinate with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires PGA Associate status, 1 year in golf operations, and strong customer service. You will assist in managing staff, merchandising, and tournaments, while promoting junior golf programs and group instruction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in golf operations, golf retail, hospitality, recreation, or customer service required.
• PGA Associate registration in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Follows and upholds golf course policies and procedures.
• Manages daily golf course operations including Pro Shop, Outside Services and practice facility.
• Serves as Manager-on-Duty and handles guest concerns and operational decisions.
• Assists with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, supervision and timekeeping of staff.
• Assists with planning and supervising Junior Golf programs and events.
• Oversees cart fleet maintenance and rotation and merchandising of Pro Shop.
• Assists with tournaments and promotional events.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Current PGA Associate (Level 1 or higher) in good standing

Coursework in Recreation, Business, Physical Education, Finance, Accounting or related field
