High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Excellent understanding and knowledge of Commercial Insurance.

To analyze and follow up outstanding account balances and establish acceptable payment arrangements.
Perform status checks on claims submitted to payers with no response after 45 days , including checking payer websites, contacting payers by phone, and documenting actions.
Process hard copy claims for payment, obtain EOBs for coordination of coverage, review claims for guidelines, and refer issues to management.
Maintain practice responses to communications, create/respond to RAI or spreadsheets, monitor responses, and escalate issues.
Handle special projects, resolve “unable to bill” claims, investigate reports, and monitor denials.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
