Qualifications

• Prior experience in all phases of Business Office operations and Insurance collections.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of Commercial Insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong initiative, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Dedication to regulatory compliance, ethical standards, and patient/employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and follow up outstanding account balances and establish acceptable payment arrangements.
• Perform status checks on claims submitted to payers and contact payers after 45 days.
• Process hard copy claims for payment, obtain EOBs, review claims for guidelines, and refer issues to management.
• Maintain responses to communications, create/respond to spreadsheets, monitor responses, and escalate issues.
• Handle special projects, resolve unable-to-bill claims, investigate reports, and monitor denials.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
