Job summary

Pace in West Columbia, SC is seeking a PFAS Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will perform hands-on analysis using GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments, ensuring accurate environmental data to protect communities and ecosystems.

The role requires a solid chemistry/biochemistry background and comfort working in a lab setting. Responsibilities include analyzing air, water, and soil samples, documenting procedures and results, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and related instruments.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry/biochemistry methods for contaminants.
• Review and interpret analytical results.
• Maintain thorough laboratory records of procedures and observations.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
