Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical methods. The role involves PFAS prep, LC/MS and other chromatography techniques, with training provided and emphasis on QA/QC compliance.

The position is 2nd shift Tue-Sat, 3pm-11:30pm, with training M-F 7am-3:30pm. Benefits include medical, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods, practices, and programs.
• Prepare samples and perform chemical analysis.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences.
• Maintain instrument services and training records.
• Adhere to QA/QC standards and SOPs; work under supervision as needed.
• Focus on PFAS prep alongside other disciplines as assigned.
