Job summary

UVA Health seeks a healthcare program coordinator to develop and implement access-related programs and transition new initiatives to operations. You will create policies, SOPs, and tip sheets, and serve as a project manager to coordinate training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

Leadership of teams and budget management are essential, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a PFA Program Coordinator or related occupation.
  • Experience managing programs within an approved budget.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience creating policies and workflows in Visio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement healthcare access-related programs and transition programs from new initiatives to operational norms.

Serve as project manager within scope of responsibility to ensure program is developed, communications for key stakeholders are defined, prepared and executed and training is planned and executed for all impacted team members. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a Healthcare related field plus 1 year of experience as a PFA Program Coordinator or any related occupation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

The pay range for this role is $86,314.00 - $122,924.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
