Job summary

Blue Flame Propane, Inc. is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver/Service Technician Driver with a CDL (Class A or B) for our Pewamo location.

Responsibilities include safely loading propane trucks and distributing products to customers, while delivering courteous, prompt, and efficient service. Requirements include a clean driving record and ability to pass the drug test; HazMat endorsement and air brake are preferred, with HazMat and DOT certifications pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL required (Class A or B) to operate propane trucks.
• HazMat endorsement and air brake endorsement preferred.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and pass drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Safely load propane trucks and distribute products to customers.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure on-time deliveries and high service standards.
• Follow HazMat/DOT safety programs and maintain required logs and paperwork.
• Communicate clearly with customers, drivers, and staff in writing and verbally.
• Adhere to state and federal laws and company procedures.

Blue Flame Propane, Inc. is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver/Service Technician Driver with a CDL, Class A, or B license with a preferred HazMat Endorsement and air brake for our Pewamo location. The driver is responsible for safely loading propane trucks and distributing products to customers. We aim to serve our customers courteously, promptly, and efficiently with dedicated employees!

Driver Position Requirements:

• Clean driving record and must be able to pass the drug test.

Driver Responsibilities and Needed Skills:

• Works with Operations to ensure schedules allow for on-time deliveries and excellent customer service by delivering the correct products and quantities.
• Responsible for following the safety programs, including HazMat and DOT certifications.
• Must address driver's problems when they arise promptly and professionally with the supervisor.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to customers, drivers, and other employees.
• Maintains all required driver's logs, invoices, and additional paperwork to ensure effective company processes and operating procedures.
• Must use the proper lifting codes and state destinations when needed.
• Understand applicable state and federal laws.
• If needed, other duties as assigned by the Operations Director.
