Job summary

Global Partners LP in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Terminal Operator to support safe receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products. You will ensure regulatory compliance and maintain safety in all terminal operations.

You will perform tank gauging, operate meters and pumps, inspect and maintain equipment, coordinate with drivers, and interact with government agencies. The role requires physically climbing tanks, working shifts, and residing within 60 minutes of site.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma.
• Must possess or be able to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Willing to work outside in inclement weather and in confined spaces.
• Able to climb ladders, walk stairs, and work at heights as needed.
• Residence within 60 minutes of site or willing to relocate within 60 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe movement, receipt, and shipment of product between pipelines, rail cars, tanker trucks, marine and storage tanks per policies.
• Ensure product transactions are accurately measured and documented.
• Perform tank gauging and calibrations; read gauge tapes.
• Conduct product quality assurance testing and document results.
• Assist maintenance of metering devices, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Inspect and report on transport trucks and terminal operations; stock balancing and reporting.
• Interact with government agencies and manage drivers for safe loading/unloading.
• Participate in safety, security, and environmental programs.
