The position requires a two-year petrochemical lab background, multitasking in high‑production environments, and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds. Rotating days/nights (12-hour shifts) with 4 on/4 off, on-site work, and safety‑driven duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Must multitask in high production testing areas.
• Strong math and observation skills are required.
• Proficiency with LIMS applications and established chemistry lab processes.
• Excellent team communication and coordination.
• Ability to follow standard and non-standard procedures.
• Ability to utilize non-complex and complex instrumentation.
• Overtime may be required.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 49 pounds.
• Prolonged standing in the lab.
• Two years laboratory experience in a petrochemical lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and physical tests per ASTM methods or standards.
• Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Clean glassware and test equipment.
• Prepare reagents as needed.
• Record data on data sheets and in LIMS.
• Maintain quality records, control charts, and lab inventory.
• Comply with safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
• Participate in cross training as needed.
