Job summary

Intertek Caleb Brett is seeking a Level II Inspector to perform inspections on product and chemical barges in Chickasaw, AL. The role requires travel at least 15% and involves climbing shore tanks up to 70 feet.

The position follows a 6 days on, 3 days off schedule, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and a 401(k) match. A valid driver’s license, IFIA and TWIC credentials are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• One-year minimum petroleum inspection experience, and able to work barges.
• Ability to travel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required.
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70ft tall and able to carry approximately 50 pounds, at a time.
• Ability to acquire and maintain an IFIA Certification, if not already certified.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on product and chemical barges.
• Conduct inventories on shore tanks.
• Record complete and detailed time logs for all jobs worked.
