Job summary

Intertek Chickasaw, AL, is seeking a Level II Inspector to perform cargo and chemical inspections on barges and shore tanks. This on-site role requires travel at least 15% and offers a pathway to professional growth within Intertek Caleb Brett.

You will record time logs, ensure safety and quality, and work with a team to uphold Intertek's Total Quality Assurance standards at customer sites along the Gulf Coast.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year petroleum inspection experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70 ft and lift ~50 lbs.
• Ability to acquire IFIA Certification and TWIC Card if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on product and chemical barges.
• Conduct inventories on shore tanks.
• Record complete and detailed time logs for all jobs.
