Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Petroleum Inspector to join the Caleb Brett team in Bismarck, ND. The role involves measuring volumes and temperatures, sampling commodities, and performing custody transfer surveys across lines, tanks, and vehicles.

Travel to client sites is required, with shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours and occasional overtime. Applicants should have some petroleum inspection experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb and inspect varying tall structures.
• Accurate measurement and documentation using measurement tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform volume and temperature measurements of commodities.
• Complete custody transfer surveys for rail cars, tank trucks and shores.
• Conduct routine equipment calibrations and function checks.
• Verify results and make entries into appropriate media.
