Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Petroleum Inspector to travel to client sites, primarily Nederland, TX, to support our Caleb Brett operations. You will oversee vessel loading, verify sampling systems, and ensure proper sampling and documentation during operations.

The role requires independent work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to travel to client terminals. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to advance within a global quality assurance leader.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client terminals.

Responsibilities

• Attend vessel loading at client terminal and follow standard industry protocol.
• Verify sampling and analysis system functions correctly.
• Ensure terminal representative collects proper samples.
• Notify Operator if any non-conformance is identified during operations.
• Confirm petroleum volumes are from certified tables and agreed with vessel representative.
• Complete final report after vessel loading is finished.
