Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Petroleum Supply Specialist to ensure safe handling, storage, and shipment of petroleum products for mission readiness. You will supervise reception, storage, and distribution of fuels, operate pumping equipment, sample testing, and maintain safety and storage procedures.

As you advance, you may supervise peers and help train others, with opportunities to translate skills into civilian careers with oil refineries and logistics firms.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Must pass a physical exam.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock bulk and packaged petroleum products.
• Issue and dispense fuels from storage and distribution facilities to using units.
