Job summary

Heartland Co-op in Elberon, IA is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, test, and repair petroleum equipment, regulators, and heaters at customer sites. You will document services, transport tools, and ensure safe, leak-free installations.

A valid Class B CDL with endorsements is required, and CETEP training as required by Heartland Co-op. One year certificate or 1–2 years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document services and products sold; maintain safety, sales, and inventory records.
• Transport tools, parts, equipment and tanks to customer sites.
• Install, test, and repair petroleum equipment and regulators on customer sites; ensure leak-free operation.
• Dismantle and replace defective pipes, thermocouples, thermostats, valves, and spindles as needed.
• Safely install equipment and promote safety programs to staff and customers.
• Assist in other areas during peak periods as needed.
