Job summary

Nwestco, LLC in Billings, MT is hiring an experienced Petroleum Equipment / Fuel Systems Technician to service fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and tank monitors at commercial fueling sites. You’ll work in the field, using strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and reading wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair equipment.

Experience with Veeder-Root monitors and dispensers from Gilbarco or Wayne, as well as STPs and POS systems, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with tank monitors such as Veeder-Root.
• Familiarity with dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, and POS systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and provide strong customer service.
• Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER are required!

Nwestco is hiring an experienced Petroleum Equipment / Fuel Systems Technician in Billings, MT to work on fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and tank monitors.

If you’ve worked on Gilbarco, Wayne, Veeder-Root, STPs, UST systems, or gas station equipment, this is steady, year-round work with a solid company that keeps you busy.

Pay range is $34/hr-$38/hr+ depending on experience and certifications. It includes full benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match, plus a company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.

Your Mission:

You’ll be out in the field working on:

Underground & aboveground tanks (UST / AST)

Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting

Preventative maintenance & repairs

Responding to service calls at commercial fueling sites

You’ll work independently but have a strong team backing you up.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment

Before You Leap:

Some positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC

All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:

Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check. This position is classified as safety-sensitive, it requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana, as a condition of employment.

Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past five years.
