Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking an experienced Petroleum Service Technician to keep fueling locations safe, reliable, and operational. You will diagnose and repair equipment, install components, and service POS systems while engaging directly with customers.

The right candidate will work independently in the field with the backing of a nationwide service organization, handling mechanical, electrical, and technology-related service calls and advancing their career through training and certifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of mechanical, electrical, petroleum equipment, or related trade experience or technical schooling.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Positive, professional attitude.
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to complete required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform petroleum equipment service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
  • Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, hanging hardware, POS equipment, and related systems.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and component replacement.
  • Install, repair, and replace dispenser hardware and equipment.
  • Complete service calls accurately and efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
  • Document work performed and complete job paperwork at the time of service.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical assistance and product support.
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering dependable service and solutions.
  • Learn and support additional systems and equipment at customer locations.
  • Manage multiple service calls and priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
