Job summary

SPATCO in Orlando seeks an experienced service technician to troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units and electronic POS systems. You will install, program and test petroleum equipment, analyze complex problems and perform preventative maintenance, while communicating clearly with customers.

The role involves outdoor work and local daily travel, with shifts varying by workload. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, dispenser certifications, and 2+

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid State Driver’s License with a good driving record.
At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
Hold valid dispenser certification(s).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco and NCR).
Install, program and test new petroleum equipment.
Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in a non-technical manner.
