Job summary

SPATCO in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair gasoline dispensing units and related POS systems. You will install, program, and test petroleum equipment, and communicate complex issues clearly to customers.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, 2+ years troubleshooting and maintaining dispensing units, and dispenser certifications. Ability to work outdoors in all weather with local travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• 2+ years troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units.
• Dispenser certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
• Install, program and test new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs.
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues clearly.
